He left Shell to do an MBA at Harvard and write his first book, Driving the Tiger, Irish Enterprise Spirit. He then joined McKinsey & Company, management consultants, to lead projects as diverse as energy, not-for-profit healthcare and satellite design in Europe, the US and Africa. The founding CEO of Alternative Energy Resources Limited (AER), he has grown the company successfully since 2006.
