He started his career with Irish Life assurance where he learned the inner workings of a large life company. He left to spend time in technical support in Standard Life before returning to Irish Life as a financial planner. He was the youngest financial advisor at that time to have ever been recruited for the role. He quickly became one of the most successful advisors in Irish Life.
