From squishy hands and squishy toes, Covid Monster is causing problems wherever he goes. The children of the world cannot play in playgrounds or visit their grandparents and they cannot wait for Covid Monster’s Mum to call him back home. This is Marguerite Tonery’s first picture book, who as a psychologist, supports children not to internalise what’s happening in the pandemic world. It’s a book that tells children they did nothing wrong and it is not because of them that they are not allowed to see their grandparents, play with their friends and do all the fun things they love.

About Us

Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland. The Irish Interest web platform is purely a provider of information about new publications. The aim of the site is to have every publishing house in Ireland adding their latest titles as they become available. Hyperlinks to each title bring users of the site directly to the publisher's web area or to a sales site where books can be purchased.
