Tomás Irish
Tomás Irish is lecturer in modern history in the Department of History and Classics, Swansea University. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for War Studies, Trinity College Dublin, from 2012 to 2015, and was also an adjunct lecturer at Maynooth University (2015). He completed his PhD dissertation at Trinity in 2012; his research examined how academic knowledge was mobilised to solve problems that emerged during the First World War and was published in April 2015 as The University at War 1914-25: Britain, France, and the United States (Palgrave Macmillan)
