Tiago Americo is a Brazilian-Canadian illustrator, author and designer. Tiago graduated in Graphic Design in 2010 and worked in the animation industry at the beginning of his career. His animation short-movie “The Chance and the Butterfly” (in Portuguese, O Acaso e a Borboleta) received several awards, including Best student movie, 2nd Best Brazilian movie and the Canal Brazil acquisition award, at the prestigious Anima Mundi festival, in 2012. For the last decade Tiago has been working as a full-time illustrator and author, creating children’s books and kid’s products and magazines. He has illustrated more than 150 children’s books, published in dozens of languages all around the globe. Among these are the best-seller series “Büyük Sorular Kitabim” published by YKY in Turkey, and the best-seller titles “Le livre sonore de mes 1 an” and “Cherche-et-trouve de mes 2 ans” published by Éditions Gründ in France.
