Róisín Sheehy is an award-winning poet and playwright. Coiscéim published her debut collection Líomóidí ‘s Rúbarb in 2021 and her play Snámh na Saoirse was published by Leabhar Comhar in 2022. Her poetry and plays have been awarded Oireachtas na Gaeilge awards. Snámh na Saoirse her debut play was awarded a Stewart Parker Trust award. She received a Patrick Kavanagh Fellowship in 2021. In 2022 Róisín was awarded an Arts Council Bursary to develop her play An Bhean a Saolaíodh ar Charraig. Her poetry has been published in various journal such Irish Pages, Poetry Ireland Review, ‘Strokestown Anthology, Comhar. Róisín is originally from West Kerry Gaeltacht and now lives in Kilkenny.
