Dr Raymond Refaussé served as Assistant Librarian in the Department of Manuscripts, Trinity College Dublin, between 1976 and 1981. He was appointed the first Church of Ireland Archivist at the RCB Library in 1981, and following the retirement of the Librarian three years later, became the first Librarian and Archivist in 1984, a position he held until his retirement in June 2016.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
