Philip O'Connor is a historian and essayist living with his family in Dublin. He has worked in politics, academia, and organising employment, training and social projects in Dublin. He has written particularly on aspects of Irish history and Irish and European politics. Occasional articles by him can be found in the Dublin Review of Books and other journals.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
