Muireann Ní Chíobháin
Muireann Ní Chíobháin is a children's author, screenwriter and performer. She believes that giving children access to culture and creativity helps them make sense of the world and of themselves. She has written children's books both as Gaeilge and in English. She loves meeting the young readers and audiences that she writes for and regularly facilitates workshops as well as visiting schools and libraries. Although a Cork City native, she spent much of her childhood in the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht in Kerry where her father's family are from and is a proud Irish speaker. Source: Commons
