Miriam Mulcahy is an Irish writer and journalist. She writes features for The Irish Times and has been published in all of the national newspapers. She has been a writer for Fáilte Ireland, the Irish tourist board since 2018. Miriam’s first book was published in 2023, a literary nonfiction memoir about grief, family and the sea. She has curated and worked with Naked Ape author and surrealist artist Desmond Morris on a museum project in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, dedicated to his life’s work, housing his paintings, his books, a selection of his letters and correspondence and hundreds of artefacts he collected on his extensive travels. Miriam lives in Kildare, is a single mother to four children.
