Michelle Gallen was born in County Tyrone in the 1970s and grew up close to the border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. She studied English Literature at Trinity College Dublin and Publishing at Stirling University. She has had work published in the Stinging Fly, Mslexia, and others and won the Orange/NW Short Story Award.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
