Mary Gallagher is Professor of French and Francophone Studies at University College Dublin. Her experience includes work at the Université de Paris III as a lectrice d'anglais; teaching high-level German at the Dundalk Institute of Technology; a university faculty position at Maynooth University, (previously St Patrick's College) in the French Department.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
