Dr. Mark Hennessy holds a B.A.(Hons.) and Ph.D. from the Department of Geography, University College Dublin. In 1984/1985 he was a Research Fellow in the Flinders University of South Australia. He was a Research Assistant in the Departments of Geography and the Department of Medieval History in 1985-198,7and Lecturer in Geography in UCD, between 1987-1991. He subsequently took up an appointment as Lecturer in Geography in Trinity College Dublin.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
