Mark Hampton is a writer from the Isle of Man, a small, mystical island in the heart of the Irish Sea, renowned for its castles, legends and folklore. He now lives in Offaly, a historic, landlocked county in the heart of the Irish countryside and home to even more inspirational castles, stories and myths … but fewer mermaids. And seagulls. Estrela Lourenço is a Portuguese children’s book author and illustrator now living in Ireland. She worked in the animation industry for fourteen years as a character animator and award-winning storyboard artist. Her first book for The O'Brien Press was Mimi the Dancing Bee (words by Eoin O'Brien).
