Marianne Lee grew up in Tullamore, County Offaly. She holds a first class honours Degree in Visual Communications from the National College of Art and Design, and an M Phil in Creative Writing from Trinity College Dublin. She progressed from writing poetry to writing music, which eventually led to more prose, short stories, and children's literature. She has worked as designer and copywriter. She lives in Dublin.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
