Originally from Bray, Co. Wicklow, Maeve Galvin has worked as an international development with United Nations and non-profit organisations for more than ten years and has lived and worked in Ireland, Cambodia, Nigeria, Myanmar and the United States. Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
