Leon Diop is an Author from Dublin, Ireland. He is a mixed race man of Irish-Catholic and Senegalese-Islamic heritage. He holds a degree in Psychology from Maynooth University where he also served Student Union President for two terms. He is the founder of Black and Irish, an organisation started in 2020. The organisation works across different areas of Irish society to improve the quality of black and mixed race people on the island of Ireland. He is the co-author of Black and Irish: Legends, Trailblazers and Everyday Heroes, published in 2023.
