Laura Keohane is an early career children’s writer from County Clare. She was the 2024 recipient of the Betty and Jenny Bursary, from Children’s Books Ireland for emerging, promising writers. Laura is a member of INIS writing group, and her debut children’s novel, ‘Secret of the Selkies,’ is published by The O’Brien Press.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
