Kyle Flanigan grew up in a small village on the outskirts of Belfast called Crossnacreevy. He studied Finance at Queen’s University Belfast and spent the early part of his professional career working in London and New York City. In 2016 he moved back to Belfast and took up a post with Belfast Harbour Commissioners, the body responsible for operating, maintaining and developing the Port. He has been working there ever since. It was also in 2016 that Willowfield Parish became his home church.

Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
