Kevin Curran grew up in Balbriggan, County Dublin. He has a Masters Degree in Anglo-Irish Literature from University College Dublin. Beatsploitation is his first book and was selected as one of the 20 winners of the Irish Writers' Centre Novel Fair Competition. He teaches in Dublin.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
