José Lanters is Professor Emerita at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She holds a PhD degree from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, and BA and MA degress from the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands Her areas of research and teaching center on Irish Literature and Culture, and Modern British Literature.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
