We always had dogs in our life growing up, so that was my closest to understanding a four legged animal. When my daughter Sarah came along 20 years ago, she immediately loved all sorts of pets. She had a fascination with big animals and elephants were her love then. But when she saw her first horse at the tender age of three, that became her passion. We got Sarah her first pony from Smithfield market, Dublin, for three hundred pounds then and he was an adorable little pony called Tayto. Having no idea about ponies myself, I just got stuck in. I found Tayto adorable and easy to take care of. And so began my life at Stables as he was the first of many ponies in our life.
