Jack Fennell

Jack Fennell attended the University of Limerick as both an undergraduate and a postgraduate, majoring in Languages, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies. He received his PhD in 2013; his dissertation was a bilingual overview of Irish science fiction from the 1850s to the present day. Fennell has also translated a number of stories from Gaelic to English. Fennell is a professor at the University of Limerick in Ireland, and has taught courses on American Literature, Augustan and Restoration Literature, Renaissance Literature, Contemporary Irish Writing, and Science Fiction Literature and Film.
