Irene Graham
Irene Graham studied writing in UCLA and went on to study complementary methods of learning such as cognitive learning skills. She also learned the craft of scriptwriting under a Hollywood Screenwriter/Director. On her return to Ireland she taught Fiction Writing, became a professional Photographer and developed The Creative Writer’s Workshop in 1991, which subsequently went online. This led to the creation of The Memoir Writing Club that became a fully interactive course. Irene’s book, The Memoir Writing Workbook was officially launched by the President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins in the National Library of Ireland on the 11 May 2009. To date, Irene has spent thirty-five years hosting writing workshops and retreats. The 3rd Edition of The Memoir Writing Workbook is available in Feb 2026 exclusively from The Memoir Writing Club website. Irene Graham has nothing to do with the book entitled Sod Off.
