Frances Browner was born in Cork; grew up in Glenageary; spent twenty years in the U.S. and is now resident in Wicklow. As a result, she never knew what team to shout for or what jersey to wear. Frances has had a few short stories & memory pieces published in Ireland’s Own and Woman’s Way magazines, as well as short story anthologies. Her work has also been broadcast on radio for Francis McManus & Sunday Miscellany and shortlisted for competitions. She enjoys writing every day & tutors a small creative writing group & oral history class for Dun Laoghaire ETB.
