.I was born and raised in Ireland. I lived there until 2008. I think I started looking for a job the day Lehman brothers went under. It was a time when the phrase 'the land of opportunity', took on a bitterly ironic tone. I was lucky enough that my in-laws took me in. It was during that time that I came up with the idea for a novel. So I wrote it. I've always been fascinated by history and the juxtaposition of a love story with the horrific events of the holocaust was incredible to write. That book became FINDING REBECCA.
