Derek Hand is an accomplished Irish literary scholar, author, and Professor of English who is now the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Dublin City University (DCU).He has held academic roles at St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, before it was incorporated into DCU.
