Daniel Doyle was born in London in 1952 to Irish born parents. They both came from Monkstown, a pretty village on Cork harbour about eight miles from Cork city. It was here that he spent his first twenty summers. This wonderful experience caused him to view Ireland through rose-tinted glasses for ever more. In 1985 he moved to Dublin, where he still lives.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
