Kilkenny mother of one Ciara Foskin (47) was only 46 in 2024 when she was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Ciara wants to raise awareness of breast cancer particularly triple negative breast cancer advising others to listen to their body, to not ignore any signs or symptoms and to go to their GP as soon as they have any concerns. Ciara has also found writing has become a powerful tool in supporting her emotional wellbeing throughout her diagnoses. It has helped her process her thoughts and she now shares her poetry and writing with others who may be navigating a similar journey and find some comfort, humour or a sense of not being so alone.
