Bob Quinn (born 1935 in Dublin), is a writer, film maker, and photographer. He has lived in Conamara, in the west of Ireland for more than forty years, which is the place that is the source of most of his inspiration. 'Kill your Darlings' on which he worked for 16 years, was his first published novel. His films include Poitín, Lament for Art O Leary, The Atlantean Trilogy, Budawanny, and many documentaries.
