Anne-Marie was born into a Catholic family in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the second of six children. Life focused around going to mass and Irish dancing, but changed dramatically when she turned 15 and her family moved to England to escape the troubles in Northern Ireland. This is Anne-Marie's first book, and a remarkable love story spanning 50 years.
