Angela Carr is a Dublin-based poet and writer whose work is published in a number of Irish and UK literary journals including Mslexia, Abridged and Bare Fiction. Shortlisted three times for the Patrick Kavanagh Award in 2013, she won the Cork Literary Review Poetry Manuscript Competition and, in 2014, won the Allingham Poetry Competition and was also selected for the Poetry Ireland Introduction series.
Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
