Adomnán or Adamnan of Iona (Gaelic pronunciation: Athovnawn) (AD 624 – 704), also known as Eunan (from Gaelic Naomh Adhamhnán), was an abbot of Iona (ca. 679–704), hagiographer, statesman, canon jurist, and saint.
