In more than one respect you get the feeling that his choice of interviewees was strange. I would recommend it for those who have little or no knowledge of Ireland, but not for the serious Irish enthusiast.
This is a book about Ireland and the Irish. Although not history, it will cover the past extensively, although not politics it will cover north and south, "the troubles" and their background.
