Mairead Carew Mairéad Carew is an archaeologist and writer. She has worked as a lecturer in the School of History and the School of English in UCD, and coordinated courses for UCD International. She is the author of Tara and the Ark of the Covenant and Tara: The Guidebook. She has also published short stories and poetry and has contributed scripts to A Living Word and Sunday Miscellany on RTÉ Radio. She is the recipient of a Listowel Writers’ Week Award and has been shortlisted for the Hennessy Award. (Irish Academic Press) |
