Marie Murray A registered clinical psychologist, family therapist, journalist, author and broadcaster. For many years she was Director of Psychology in St Vincent’s Psychiatric Hospital in Dublin before moving to UCD as Director of Psychology in the Student Counselling Services. She has also held academic posts as Course Director of the ‘Master’s in Systemic Family Therapy’ at the University of Limerick; she was a member of the faculty of the Mater Family Therapy Training Programme, of the Academic Advisory Board of the CTYI at DCU and editor of Feedback: The Journal of Family Therapy Association of Ireland. From 2008-2013 she was a member of the Medical Council of Ireland and she has recently been appointed as Commissioning and Series Editor for The MindYourSelf Series which is the new Currach Irish Health Series imprint.
