Brian Lalor


A graduate of the Crawford College of Art and Design, Brian Lalor studied classical architecture and became a specialist archaeologist, having worked extensively in the Middle East, and with major international institutions. He was the general editor of the internationally award-winning The Encyclopaedia of Ireland, author of Ink-Stained Hands, a pioneering study of Irish art history, and compiler of the best-selling poetry anthologies, I am of Ireland, Island of Shadow and Forgotten Beauty.
